At the March 2001 meeting, we drew names and sent a polymer clay postcard to that person. Some people even sent an extra postcard, to someone else.

If you've received a postcard that's not shown here, please send me an image file.

You can see a larger version with a click.

For some reason, this swap brought out the poet in several people.

 from Gail:

I sent a postcard through the mail
Over mountain, over vale.
I hope it gets there without fail,
Signed with my name, sincerely, Gail.

from Jan:

I put my postcard in the mail,
But at prescanning, I did fail!
Oh, now what can I say,
My brain was missing on that day.
Now, I hope that in the mail,
My work will hold up and not fail.
Then some kind soul will better plan,
and we'll end up with a pic or scan.

from Irene:

A postcard out into the world I sent,
I'd like to hear from the recipient.
Did it arrive safe and sound?
With surface smooth and corners round?
Or was it broken, nicked, or cracked?
With jagged edges and deeply scratched?
If you're the one by whom it's received,
Ease my mind and email me please.
