Meeting Report

May 12, 2007

Our meeting was held at the Avery Creek Community Center May 12th 2007. There were 15 people in attendance. This included a couple of new member. Welcome.

Teresa opened the meeting with Major news: Our guild president, Tom Sampson, is regretfully stepping down. Our vice president, Teresa Haynes will become president. We nominate Sharon Solly to take over the duties of vice president. We will take a vote to make it official at the next meeting. Anyone not able to attend can vote via e-mail to me (Maggie).

The following exciting classes were announced:

More information as we get it. Thanks to Barb VL for doing such a great job lining up these wonderful teachers.

Show and tell was amazing as usual. Such a talented group! Then there was the unveiling of the dragons for the lucky ones that participated in the dragon swap! Some were so special that the participants had to draw numbers for them. Too cool! There is a link to pictures on our yahoo group.

After that we went around the room and discussed our favorite recycling with polymer clay tips. Then everyone went to clay or visit as they pleased for the rest of the meeting.

You know what I’m going to say: IMHO fun was had by all!

TChallenge for next month is 3-D. Interpret it as you like.
