May 12, 2007Our meeting was held at the Avery Creek Community Center May 12th 2007. There were 15 people in attendance. This included a couple of new member. Welcome.
The following exciting classes were announced: Teacher: Barbara McGuire Cost: $ 45.00 Date: June 29th at 6:00 pm Location: Avery Creek Community Center Teacher: Marilyn Davenport Cost: about 125.00, excluding tool kit Date: July 7 & 8 Location: Pat Smiths house Description: Precious metal clay retreat Teacher: Kim Cavender Date: August 3-5 Location and cost not determined at this time. Teacher: Judy Belcher Date: in the fall? Location and cost not determined at this time. More information as we get it. Thanks to Barb VL for doing such a great job lining up these wonderful teachers. Show and tell was amazing as usual. Such a talented group! Then there was the unveiling of the dragons for the lucky ones that participated in the dragon swap! Some were so special that the participants had to draw numbers for them. Too cool! There is a link to pictures on our yahoo group. After that we went around the room and discussed our favorite recycling with polymer clay tips. Then everyone went to clay or visit as they pleased for the rest of the meeting.
