Meeting Report

September 9, 2006

The meeting was held at the Avery Creek Community Center September 9, 2006. There were 8 people in attendance.

Tom started the meeting with business. Then he showed us his cool new rechargeable Dremel tool with quick attachment gadget.

Show and tell, little demos and lively conversations followed.

A few things were collected for the library exhibit. If you have anything you want to add contact Barbara D. to make arrangements.

We are trying something new. Next months meeting will be in conjunction with a half clay day. The meeting will be on the 21st instead of on the 14th. The cost will be $5.00 for the 1st half of the day (9:00 – 12:00). We will break for a pot-luck lunch at 12:00 then have the regular meeting. Members not interested in clay day are welcome to join in lunch. Just bring a dish to share. There will be a raffle and auction. Don't forget to bring things for the sale table or anything you want to donate to the auction. Tom is going to demonstrate wire wrap in the afternoon.

Again, there will not be a meeting on Saturday October 14th. It has been moved to the 21st.
