Meeting Report

October 21, 2006

The meeting started with introductions all around. There were 11 in attendance including 3 new faces (welcome).

Tom explained clay days and membership. He also talked about the Lisa Pavelka Cruise and the artist's shops going in at Horseshoe Gap Village. Show and tell followed. There were a couple of great donations to the bead jar.

After a short break, Maggie demonstrated the faux brocade surface technique and a method for making tile bracelets.

There is no December meeting.

See you at the next meeting on January 13th. Remember, membership renewals are due then. There will be demonstrations on simple mold making, properties of different clay brands, skinner blends, finishing and baking. The challenge for January is "Snow Flakes".
