The Blue Ridge Polymer Clay Guild meeting was held at the Avery Creek Community Center March 11th. There were 16 people in attendance including 6 new people.
Teresa started the meeting with introductions all around. Barb D. gave a treasury report. Barb VL reminded us that April 22 is clay day. She announced that Donna Kato is confirmed for June 3 & 4 and Lisa Pavelka is scheduled for the 1st weekend in November.
Next we had our show and tell and challenge stuff. The challenge for next month will be "leather and lace".
Then after a short break Marilyn demonstrated her leaf cane (many oohs and ahs). After that Maggie (me) demonstrated a butterfly cane. Following the demos most of us went to work on what we had just been shown or broke into lively discussion groups.
Fun was had by all.
